'This is my first major win' London man wins $100K

A father of two in London is celebrating after he matched six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order with a LOTTO 6/49 ticket to win $100,000.

Eduardo Molina, 59, won during the August 5 lotto draw.

"This is my first major win," he said while picking up his cheque at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. "I always play ENCORE."

Molina said he was so shocked about the win that he checked his lottery ticket at two different locations.

"I actually went to two different stores to check my ticket because I didn't believe it was real! It just seems crazy," he said. "It's incredible to see $100,000 for the first time in my life!"

Once Molina believed he actually won $100,000, he called his friend.

"She is so happy for me," he said.

The 59-year-old London man said he plans to use his winnings to pay off some bills a buy something for himself.

The winning ticket was bought at Market 479 on Highbury Avenue in London.
