Motorcycle dealership 'heartbroken' after fire guts business (GALLERY)

Owners of a Dorchester motorcycle dealership are reeling after a fire tore through the business early Thursday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police officers and Thames Centre firefighters responded to Langs' Off-Road on Elgin Road at around 2:09 a.m. to find flames shooting out of the windows of the business.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before it caused more than $1 million in damages.

"We’re heartbroken. Last night there was a fire in the building Lang’s operates out of. Nearly everything is gone," Langs' Off-Road posted to its Facebook page later that morning. "The showroom is burnt out, and most of the shop is damaged. It’s hard to even recognize our workspace today."

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the blaze, which has been deemed suspicious in nature, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
