A St. Thomas man is facing charges after a security guard trying to break up an argument between a man and woman was assaulted.
A man and his girlfriend were in a verbal fight in the area of Talbot Street and Mary Street in St. Thomas Thursday night when the guard tried to intervene. The man is alleged to have attacked and threatened the guard.
St. Thomas police were called and the man was arrested without incident.
A 27-year-old man is charged with one count of assault and one count of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
