London man taunts cops, loses foot chase

Police say a man is facing charges after an officer took him up on the challenge to "catch me if you can."

An officer got out of his cruiser and chased the man before catching him and taking him into custody. Police say a search of the man turned up a handgun, a knife, drugs, and over $50,000 in Canadian cash.

Tyler Faraj, 31, of London is charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, possession of cocaine, public mischief, resisting a peace officer, trespassing at night, and being intoxicated in a public place.
