UPDATE: Brant County OPP investigate fatal collision

Provincial police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision on Vanessa Road, west of Highway 24 in the County of Brant, that resulted in the death of two people.

OPP said the collision happened on Saturday around 7:45 p.m.

Police said the initial collision involved two vehicles on Vanessa Road, west of Simcoe Street.

The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased have been identified by OPP as 25-year-old Michael Kovacevic of Stoney Creek and 29-year-old Dillion Henry of Norfolk County.

A 29-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles, also from Norfolk County, was taken to the local hospital with serious injuries.

After the initial collision, a third vehicle struck one of the cars involved. The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
