Police investigate firearm call in east London

A heavy police presence was reported in downtown London on Wednesday afternoon while officers conducted a weapons investigation.

At around 3 p.m., London police attended an address near Dundas Street and Adelaide Street North to locate a man who may have been carrying a firearm. While on the scene, officers recovered an airsoft style pellet gun.

Following the incident, two men have been taken into police custody.

No injuries have been reported.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
