Two guns, fentanyl seized in south London raid

Charges have been laid against four people after a police raid at a home in south London turned up an automatic rifle, a loaded shotgun and fentanyl.

London police searched the home on Conway Drive in the White Oaks area on Sunday. Officers seized 15 grams of fentanyl, an automatic rifle, a loaded 12 gauge shotgun, various ammunition, a digital scale, a cellphone, and $250 in cash.

A 27-year-old man, a 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, all from London, are charged with eight offences including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, and careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.

A 28-year-old London man is also charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

All four were scheduled to appear in London court by video in relation to the charges on Tuesday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
