Man stabbed at Dundas St. apartment building

A stabbing at an apartment building near Old East Village has left one man in hospital and two others facing charges.

The incident, which was captured on video surveillance, began just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday at a building on Dundas Street near Adelaide Street. Three acquaintances were inside one of the units when they got into a dispute. The altercation spilled into the hallway where one man was assaulted and stabbed, London police said.

Staff at the building called 911 and police arrived to find a 25-year-old man suffering non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Two London men were arrested at the scene.

Charles Robert Daniel Palmer, 38, and Charles Alexander Raymond George, 28, are both charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault. The pair were scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on Wednesday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
