Trafalgar Street reopened following gas leak

An area in east London was cordoned off Saturday evening following a gas leak.

London fire, police, and Middlesex-London EMS responded to the area of Trafalgar Street and Atkinson Boulevard at around 7 p.m.

Residents were told to avoid the area while first responders worked to shut off a gas system at a business.

Trafalgar Street was reopened to traffic at around 8 p.m.
