Charges laid after driver takes off from 401 crash

A Tillsonburg man is facing charges after a hit-and-run on Highway 401 ended with a foot chase through Dorchester.

A black pick-up truck crashed into a tractor trailer in the westbound lanes in Thames Centre around 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The heavily damaged pickup took off from the scene following the collision, Middlesex OPP said.

The truck was spotted shortly after in Dorchester driving on a rim.
