Police arrest three people wanted in New Year's Day shooting

London police have arrested three people wanted in connection to a New Year's Day drive-by shooting.

Officers were called to a south end neighbourhood on Millbank drive around 10 a.m. January 1 where they discovered a gun had been fired at a moving vehicle. No one was injured during the incident.

On Sunday, a warrant was executed at a home on Southdale Road East and police confirmed 25-year-old Landon Doxtator had been arrested and charged with discharging a firearm with intent to wound.

Police reported that three more suspects were charged jointly in the investigation by way of a warrant of arrest.

Kaliwhi Rodarte, 27, Donald Wayne Schaefer, 50, and Savannah Taylor Matson, 29, all of London, have been arrested and appeared in court in relation to the firearms charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
