Animal carcasses left on vehicles in Norfolk

Provincial police in Norfolk County are investigating after someone left animal carcasses on two vehicles.

Officers were called to a home on Water Street in Charlotteville after the gruesome discovery was made on Monday morning.

Someone walked onto the property between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. that morning and left a dead rabbit and a dead raccoon on two vehicles in the driveway of the home, police said.

Police are now turning to neighbours in the area for assistance with the investigation. They are asking anyone that may have surveillance footage of the suspect or any suspicious vehicles to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
