Norfolk homeowner finds stranger in their bathroom

Provincial police are investigating a break-in at home in Norfolk County over the weekend.

Officers attended a residence located on Third Concession Road NTR near Middleton Township at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday following a report of a stranger found inside the bathroom of the home.

According to OPP, the homeowner had been asleep when they heard noises upstairs. Upon further inspection, the owner located an unknown male who immediately fled after being confronted.

The suspect was described as a white male, in their 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a camouflaged jacket with fur around the hood, and a yellow face mask.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
