COVID-19 case reported at London french immersion school

A single case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at a french immersion public school in London on Tuesday.

According to the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB), the case was identified at Kensal Park French Immersion Public School in London.

The school board says parents, guardians, and staff have been notified and the Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) is working to identify close contacts of the infected individuals.

"Thames Valley is following all health and safety protocols recommended by both the local public health unit and the Ministry of Education, and schools remains safe places to attend," the board said in a statement.

There are currently two active cases of the virus linked to TVDSB schools. On Monday, a case was reported at a public school in Woodstock.
