$15M winning lotto ticket sold in Woodstock

Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Woodstock will be heading into the Family Day long weekend $15 million richer.

The OLG has confirmed the winning ticket for Wednesday night's LOTTO 6/49 jackpot was sold somewhere in the city.

A second prize-winning ticket from Wednesday's draw, worth $227,394.80, was sold in London, while two $100,000 winning encore tickets were sold in Kawartha Lakes and Barrie.

The jackpot for the next LOTTO 6/49 draw on Saturday will be approximately $5 million with one guaranteed $1 million prize and 20 guaranteed $25,000 prizes.
