Repeated drone fly-overs raise concerns at Strathroy school

Strathroy-Caradoc police are looking for information after a drone was seen flying over a local school during recess twice in one day.

The small black drone was spotted hovering over the school yard at North Meadows Public School on Middlesex Drive during both the morning and afternoon breaks last Friday.

When the drone returned as students played outside during the second recess, staff became concerned for the children's safety and ushered them back inside.

The drone left the area at the time.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 519-245-1250 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
