Man in custody after downtown stabbings

London police say a man is facing charges after a fight outside a pizza shop ended with stabbings

Police were called to the outside of a pizza parlour at 422 Waterloo St. around 10 p.m. Monday. Four men, who were acquaintances, got into a physical confrontation. One of the men pulled out a knife and attacked the others.

Three men were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested a suspect in the area of Central Avenue and Waterloo Street.

A 28-year-old man is charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and failing to comply with a release order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
