Man arrested in break and enter at Labatt store

London police say a man has been charged after he allegedly broke into the Labatt brewery early Wednesday morning.

Security staff at the brewery located at 150 Simcoe Street called police after they watched footage of a break-in. In the video, police say a man entered the store, stole some items, and took off.

Officers were able to identify the suspect with a description, and he was observed entering an apartment building, also on Simcoe Street, a short distance away.

The suspect was arrested and the stolen items were retrieved.

A 33-year-old London man is charged with break and enter and theft.

He will appear in court on July 8.
