London police investigate Wavell Street shooting

Police in London are investigating an overnight shooting in the city.

According to police, emergency crews responded to possible gunshots around 12:45 a.m. Sunday on Wavell Street near Dundas Street.

No injuries were reported however, evidence was located at the scene that indicated a firearm had been discharged.

The LPS Crime Gun Task Force is investigating the incident. The task force was created to address public safety as a result of an increased number of gun-related incidents in the city.

The investigation is in its early stages. More information is expected to be provided as it becomes available.
