Grocery delivery driver robbed at knifepoint

A woman delivering groceries was the victim of an armed robbery in west London early Saturday morning.

At around 8:40 a.m., police say a suspect approached the victim with a knife and demanded the keys to her vehicle at a home on Wonderland Road South near Commissioners Road West.

The suspect took off in the vehicle and police were called shortly after.

Officers were able to locate the accused and victim's vehicle, and an arrest was made.

A prohibited knife was seized during a search. No one was hurt during the incident.

A 31-year-old London woman is charged with armed robbery and possession of a restricted weapon.

The woman will appear in court on July 15.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
