More gunshots in London

For the ninth time in less than two months, London police are investigating gunfire in the city.

The latest incident happened around 1:50 a.m. Wednesday. Police were called by several people who reported hearing gunshots in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Vinewood Court.

"Officers determined that a firearm had been discharged in the area and that a residence on Vinewood Court was struck," police said in a news release. "Police found the residence to be empty."

No injuries were reported.

So far this year, London police have responded to ten incidents involving gunfire.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
