Police seize sawed-off shotgun near Old South

Police have removed another sawed-off shotgun from the streets of London.

Officers with the guns and drugs section saw suspicious activity in the area of Grand Avenue and Gerrard Street on Wednesday. That led to a search of the area which turned up a 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun and two shotgun shells.

At this point, no one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
