Emergency crews were called about a sudden death at a home on Merritt Street just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Oxford OPP determined trees were being cleared from the property when part of one hit the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been identified as Brent Van Kooten of Oxford County.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
