Boy hit by car in Oxford

A 10-year-old boy had to be airlifted to hospital over the weekend after he was hit by a vehicle on a property in South-West Oxford Township.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Brownsville Road just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The boy suffered serious injuries in the collision and was airlifted to an out-of-town hospital, Oxford OPP said.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
