Replica machine gun, cocaine seized by police

Charges have been laid against two men after raids at two London homes turned up two replica guns and more than $11,000 worth of drugs.

Officers with the London police crime gun task force and emergency response unit searched the homes on Cambridge Street and Springbank Drive on Thursday. They found a replica machine gun, a replica handgun, 80 grams of cocaine, 25 grams of methamphetamine, five grams of crack cocaine, and a small amount of hydromorphone and fentanyl.

Two men, both 35, from London and Tillsonburg were arrested. They are charged with five counts each of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The Tillsonburg man also faces an additional charge of failure to comply with release order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
