Lotto ticket worth $1M sold in London

Once again, a $70 million Lotto Max jackpot has not been won, however, a few major prizes were won in the London region.

Twenty Maxmillions prizes were won or shared across Canada during Friday night's draw, 13 of which were won in Ontario.

A winning ticket worth $1 million was sold in London.

Two tickets worth $100,000 were also sold in Elgin and Oxford Counties.

Tickets can be checked through the OLG website or by using the OLG Lottery App on a smartphone.

Earlier this week, several winning tickets were announced in London, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor.

The next Lotto Max draw is on Tuesday, June 15. The OLG said a new record of $128 million in top prizes will be available, which works out to a $70 million jackpot and an estimated 58 Maxmillions prizes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
