Woman reported missing in St. Thomas

St. Thomas Police are looking for a 26-year-old woman last seen around 3 a.m. Saturday.

Jayme Lyn McMurray was walking southbound along the Whistlestop Trail on Wellington Street after leaving a homeless shelter.

Police describe McMurray as 5-foot-2, 115 pounds, with dark hair. She was wearing black tights, a jacket with white sleeves, and black shoes. McMurray was carrying a backpack.

A photo of McMurray has not been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
