Vehicle clocked going 160 km/h in a 50 km/h zone

Provincial police in Norfolk County say they clocked a vehicle doing more than three times the posted speed limit in Simcoe.

The two-door red sedan was pulled over on Tuesday night after an officer spotted it going 160 km/h on Queensway West.

The posted speed limit on that street is 50 km/h.

A 26-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with stunt driving. His vehicle has also been impounded and licence suspended.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
