Firefighters battle house fire in west London

Fire officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a home in London's west end.

The London Fire Department first reported the blaze on Apricot Place on Saturday shortly after 6 p.m.

Fire officials said the blaze has been extinguished and the house has been searched. No injuries have been reported.

Investigators will be attending the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire.

A damage estimate has not been provided at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
