Provincial police arrest three in stolen vehicle crash

Police arrested three people in an incident involving a stolen car near Ilderton.

According to Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), at around 5:40 a.m. Monday, police responded to a single-vehicle crash somewhere along Ilderton Road in Middlesex Centre.

When officer's arrived, three people fled from the area. Police later determined the vehicle had been reported stolen. The OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Services Unit arrived to assist and one person was arrested.

A short time later, OPP learned the two other suspects had made their way into London where they were arrested at an address on Viscount Road with the help of city police.

No one was injured during the incident. Additional details have not been provided as the investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
