Commissioners closed after serious crash, one sent to hospital

A crash in west London closed part of Commissioners Road Thursday afternoon and sent one person to hospital.

Sometime after 3 p.m., emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Commissioners near Cranbrook Road. Officials with the London Fire Department have confirmed that one person was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

London police arrived to assist with a road closure of Commissioners Road just east of Cranbrook Road. Heavy delays were reported in the area while crews worked to clear the scene.

At around 4:40 p.m., fire officials said they cleared the area and that police would reopen the roadway sometime around or just after 5 p.m.
