Police looking for Delaware break-in suspect

Strathroy-Caradoc police are asking for the public's help identifying a man alleged to have broken into a house in Delaware.

The man was seen pulling onto Wilson Street - a dead-end street - around 2:30 a.m. on Monday. He then rummaged through several vehicles on the street before breaking into the home, police said.

He left the area in a dark coloured van that may have been a Honda Odyssey, traveling south on Wilson Street towards Longwoods Road.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his mid-30s with a large tattoo on his neck and right hand. He was wearing a painter’s cover-up, gloves, Adidas baseball hat, and dark tennis shoes with white laces.

Anyone with information about this incident or is able to identify the suspect is asked to call police at 519-245-1250 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
