Long Point home targeted by apple throwing vandals

Provincial police are investigating after a home in Long Point was targeted by vandals twice this month.

Norfolk OPP were called to the house on Old Cut Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday after unknown people showed up and pitched apples at the residence.

Nearly three weeks earlier, someone intentionally damaged the brake sensors on a vehicle parked on the property.

Police are asking anyone with video surveillance that may have captured possible suspects in the two incidents to call them at 1-888-310-1122. They are also reminding residents to report suspicious activity immediately.

"If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid," police said.
