Four charged in cocaine, opiate bust

London police say four people face charges after a series of raids turned up cocaine, opiates, and nearly $2,000 in cash.

According to London police, officers with the Guns and Drugs Section did searches at addresses on Jacksway Crescent, Cayuga Crescent, and Apache Road in London.

They seized 308 grams of cocaine, 204 Percocet tablets, five digital scales, six cellular devices, and $1,760 in Canadian cash.

The four suspects, who ranged in age from 18 to 22, each face charges of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

All four have been released from custody with court dates set for November.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
