Man wanted for attempted murder arrested

The third suspect wanted for the attempted murder of a man in southeast London has been arrested.

Colton Thomas of London was charged by way of warrant Tuesday in connection with the weekend stabbing in the area of Southdale Road East and Millbank Drive. London police announced on Wednesday the 20-year-old man had been taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in court later in the day.

It was around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday when emergency crews found a man suffering from a stab wound. The man was taken to hospital where, as of Tuesday, he remained in critical condition, London police said.

Two London women, aged 19 and 25, were previously arrested and charged with attempted murder in relation to the incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
