Stabbing victim dies in hospital, London Police upgrade charges to murder

Nearly a week after a man was stabbed in South London - he has died from his injuries in hospital.

London Police announced on Friday that Mohamed Abdallah, 29, was the victim in a stabbing that happened in the area of Southdale Road East and Millbank Drive.

Abdallah was stabbed early Saturday morning - police responded to the scene at around 3:15am when they received a report about an injured person in the area.

On Monday, two women, Mary Caruana, 25, and Mercedes Summers, 19, were charged with attempted murder. Then, on Wednesday, Colton Thomas, 20, was arrested and also charged.

The charge for each has now been upgraded to second degree murder.

All three of the accused are from London.

They'll appear in court on November 1st.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
