UPDATE: Firefighters battle blaze at Grey Street home

Two London firefighters have suffered minor injuries after battling a house fire on Grey Street Saturday afternoon.

The fire was in a single-story home on Grey Street, near Waterloo Street.

According to fire officials, heavy smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived at the scene.

No one was inside the home when the fire broke out.

Fire officials said investigators will be at the scene Sunday to determine the origin, cause, and circumstances of the fire.

Platoon Chief Colin Shewell expresses at this point with investigators, the fire appears to be suspicious.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
