Second suspect wanted in death of Gabriel Neil

London police say they are searching for a second suspect in the death of a first-year Western University student.

Police announced Friday that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Haroun Raselma, 19, of London on a charge of manslaughter in the death of Gabriel Neil. The 18-year-old had just moved to London to attend Western University when he was assaulted in a parking lot plaza at the intersection of Western Road and Sarnia Road around 2 a.m. on Saturday, September 11.

Aliyan Ahmed, 21, of London was charged with manslaughter on September 12. The London Free Press reported Thursday that he had been released on bail.

Anyone who knows where Raselma might be or has any information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
