Two women arrested after East London taser incident

London Police say two women face weapons charges after an alleged incident involving a taser in East London.

It happened on Thursday afternoon at a home on Gramercy Park Place, near Highbury and Dundas.

Two women went to the home, armed with a taser, and kicked the door repeatedly, causing some damage.

The taser was charged, but the two women never got into the home. They were arrested, and nobody was hurt.

The home is owned by an acquaintance of the two suspects.

Christine Darlene Dean, 43, and Yvette Suzanne Chapleo, 48, who are both from London, each face charges of mischief under $5000, and possession of a weapon.

They'll appear in court in December.
