More COVID-19 cases at Thames Valley schools

Public health officials have detected five more COVID-19 cases at three London schools.

The Thames Valley District School Board announced Sunday night that cases of the virus had been detected at Westminster Secondary School and Wilfrid Jury Public School. An additional three cases were also identified at Lord Elgin Public School.

The school board said it has notified all students and staff who were in close contact with the infected individuals. Anyone who was in close contact has been asked to stay home from school and quarantine for 10 days.

Anyone who has not been notified is not a close contact and is not considered to be at risk.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
