Traffic stop nets police cocaine, cannabis

Provincial police in Norfolk County seized a quantity of illicit drugs, along with some cash, after stopping a vehicle for stunt driving over the weekend.

The vehicle was spotted going well above the posted speed limit on Brantford Road. It was stopped by officers without incident.

A search of the vehicle turned up an undisclosed amount of cocaine, cannabis, and Canadian currency.

A 27-year-old from Mississauga was arrested. That individual is charged with several criminal and highway traffic act offences.
