Police look for missing Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation resident

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 35-year-old man from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation.

The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police said Ryan Boortz-Jones was last seen Saturday around 5 p.m. at a Pit Road address on Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation.

He is described as an Indigenous male, 6'2 tall, 165 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police said Boortz-Jones was wearing a light blue jacket, dark blue track pants, and white Nike shoes at the time of his disappearance.

He is known to frequent Owen Sound and Saugeen First Nation.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave an anonymous online message, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
