Update: man died of injuries after collision

A London man has died of the injuries he suffered in a collision involving three vehicles in southwest London.

Emergency crews were called to the crash at the intersection of Exeter Road and Wonderland Road South around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

One of the drivers, 72-year-old Kassem Deeb of London, had to be cut from the wreckage by firefighters. He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The intersection was closed for the entire morning commute while investigators probed the cause of the collision. The area was reopened to traffic shortly after 1 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
