Police seek federal offender

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a federal offender known to frequent the Sarnia, London, and Strathroy areas.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking for help from the public in finding 39-year-old Randy McPherson.

McPherson is described as being 5'6", 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm, lettering above his left and right eyebrows, a teardrop on his right cheek, as well as a tattoo on his left elbow that reads "PEYTON" with a cobweb. McPherson has several other tattoos on his arms and torso.

He is currently serving a three year sentence for robbery and armed robbery. A warrant was issued following his breach of statutory release.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
