Charges laid after driver exposes himself twice to other driver

A 30-year-old London man is accused of exposing himself two times to a woman driving in the southwest-end of the city.

The woman was on Wharncliffe Road near Wonderland Road around 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday when a black Volkswagen sedan stopped beside her. The man got out of his car, walked to the front of the woman's vehicle, and exposed himself, London police said.

The woman drove away, but the suspect vehicle stopped beside her again at Southdale Road and Wharncliffe Road, where the man allegedly exposed himself a second time.

Police were called and officers located a Volkswagen in the area of Wharncliffe Road South and Legendary Drive about 15 minutes after the first incident.

A London man, 30, is charged with one count of performing an indecent act. He is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charge on February 14.

The man and woman were not known to each other, police said.
