Man charged in nearly $300K drug bust

A London man faces charges after a raid on a north end home turned up nearly $300,000 worth of drugs, including cocaine, LSD, and MDMA.

According to London police, officers with the Guns and Drugs Section searched a vehicle and raided a home on Chepstow Close on Friday.

They seized over four kilograms of psilocybin, over 20 kilograms of marijuana, 842 grams of MDMA, 54 grams of cocaine, two full sheets of LSD tabs, various marijuana and psilocybin edibles, marijuana vapes, and marijuana balms. Police estimate the value of the drugs at over $290,000.

Officers also seized drug packaging materials, a conducted energy weapon, a flick knife, and about $10,000 in cash.

A 23-year-old man faces several drug charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
