Pedestrian hit, killed by train in Ingersoll

A collision between a train and a pedestrian has left one person dead in Ingersoll.

The fatal incident happened around 11 a.m. on Sunday on the tracks at Thames Street between Victoria and St. Andrew streets.

No other details have been released.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until family are notified.

Oxford OPP continue to investigate and will provide updates when they become available.
