UPDATE: London police and fire search in Thames River

The London Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) continue to actively search for an individual who may have entered the Thames River in the area of Greenway Park.

The search began Saturday morning after a caller to police reported someone going into the water.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.

More information will be released as it becomes available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
