OPP investigating hit-and-run southeast of Woodstock

Ontario Provincial Police in Oxford County are looking for a white pick-up truck that hit a hydro pole and a fence before allegedly taking off.

Police got a report of a hit-and-run on Slant Road in Norwich Township around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers determined that a white pick-up truck left the roadway and struck a hydro pole before heading northeast toward Evergreen Street.

There was also damage to a livestock fence and a mailbox in the area.

OPP believe the suspect truck has front end damage and is missing a right side step.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
