Update: missing 33-year-old woman found

Update: London police announced on Tuesday afternoon that Zheena Vankoughnett has been found and is safe.

London police are hopeful the public can assist with locating a missing woman.

Police say 33-year-old Zheena Vankoughnett was last seen at around 2 p.m. Monday in the area of Hamilton Road and Rectory Street. She is described as a White woman, approximately 5'3", 140 lbs with a slim build, brown eyes and curly brown hair.

Vankoughnett was wearing dark pants, a black sweater with a blue gown underneath and black winter boots when she was last seen.

Her family and police are concerned for her well being.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
